| URC Exclusive-Life Imitating (Virtual) Art
It seems the driving simulator Forza Motorsport 3 is already an unqualified hit among several spheres of influence, and it just barely went on sale to the public yesterday. The gaming press is mostly smitten with its near-photorealistic graphics and ease of accessibility. When we messed with Forza 3 at its official launch last week, we were sufficiently impressed with the detailed level of tuning the sim provides - pretty much blows every other product we’ve seen out of the water.

The writing is, very clearly, on the wall - this year's SEMA Show, running from November 3 to 6, could shape up to be a stinker for the small-displacement tuner crowd. True, the organization throwing the shindig is crowing about potentially strong attendance in spite of the recession, and for lovers of modern pony cars it looks like it'll be a banner year for the Mustang/Camaro/Challenger set, particularly with Ford as the official manufacturer of this year's show.

| URC Exclusive-Tokyo Motor Show 2009 Preview
The current automaker bonanza of alternative fuel cars and technology will reach a new high later this month when the biennial Tokyo Motor Show opens its doors to the public October 24 through November 4 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City. All of Japan's big OEMs and many of its peripheral players seem to have something to add to the category, which frankly has left us a little indifferent to the expo this time out. Call it a sign of the times that we're not exactly thrilled about.
