Day has gone off much smoother but there are just fewer import parts in general out there on the floor. Finding them is difficult with all the 2010 Camaros crowding the aisles. But we have found some gems for today's lucky contestants, the new Godzilla and the Korean Hammer also known as the Nissan GT-R and Hyundai Genesis.

Nissan GT-R

Block Fortification
The Darton M.I.D Sleeve Kit for the Nissan GT-R VR38DETT block strengthens the deck for serious boost-up antics. The patented M.I.D. Sleeve Kit gives enthusiasts the ability to run a larger bore at any amount of boost safely. Bore sizes from 95.5mm to 100mm are available. dartonsleeves.com.

Stroke It
Jun' custom stroker kit for the GT-R's VG38ETT ups the displacement ante to 4.0 liters and opens the door to more torque and power production. The kit includes a trick forged crankshaft, Jun's Super Forged rods and boost read forged pistons. junauto.co.jp.

Down In The Hood
Seibon has worked its carbon fiber infused magic on the GT-R developing a hood for the new Godzilla. The hood retains all the stock latching and hardware while it saves weight and looks great. seibon.com.

Front-Mount Fury
AMS Performance has engineered a dramatic front-mount intercooler for the GT-R. It features a solid single-piece design, high-flow bar & plate core and large volume cast end tanks. The unit is factory pressure tested to 50 psi and requires no trimming for installation. amsperformance.com.

Serious LSD
OS Giken's race proven OS Super Lock LSD has been developed for the mighty Nissan R35 GT-R. The stout unit enables a smooth ramp up to 100-percent lock and virtually eliminates wheelspin making for quick stoplight getaways. osgiken.net.

Traction in Action
NRG rear traction bars, lower arms and toe links steady the rear of the hellish all-wheel drive GT-R during hard launches or at-speed throttle stabs. The bars are constructed with a billet bar and fully adjustable ends. getnrg.com.

Seibon has both ends of the GT-R covered and fenders are on the way. The Seibon carbon-fiber trunk pulls weight out of Nissan's supercar for the masses while adding a bit of style. seibon.com.

Hyundai Genesis

Power Pistons
MAHLE Motorsports has attacked Hyundai flagship Genesis with its Hyundai Genesis 3.8L Turbo PowerPak and Hyundai Genesis 2.0L PowerPak piston kits. The forged racing pistons for the Hyundai Genesis with a 3.8L and an aftermarket Turbo supercharger or factory turbo 2.0-liter coupe add durability for those looking to bring on the boost. Slipper skit forgings, German steel pins, race proven round wire locks and steel nitrided performance rings highlight the specs of these serious slugs. mahlemotorsports.com.

Feelin' Front-Mount
Show the pride of pressurization with AEM Induction Systems' front-mount intercooler kit for the Genesis coupe. The kit includes a high-flow core, cast end tanks and upgraded anodized I/C pipes. aemelectronics.com.

The Ultimate Hook-up
Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has developed a high-performance pressure plate for the Hyundai Genesis coupe. The pressure plate will allow more aggressive clutch dropping and a much more spirited driving experience. advancedclutch.com.

Get Your Growl On
DC Sports' cat back exhaust features a single-canister, dual-outlet design that tucks the muffler and fills the bumper with gleaming exhaust tips. The fully polished affair has been dyno tuned for maximum return on investment and is available for turbo four and V6 coupes. dcsports.com .

Better Breathing
Injen has addressed the cold side of the genesis power equation with its cold-air intake kit for the high-strung Korean coupe. The kit features fully polished pipes with billet mass air adapter and step-down design to improve throttle response and top end power production. injen.com.

While not a swap kit Rhys Millen Racing's (RMR) wicked Genesis coupe illustrates how far the Korean automaker has come since its Tiburon struggled for recognition in recent years. RMR honed out the middle section of the coupe, dropped in a 4.6-liter V8 from Genesis sedan and whipped it to produce 500 horsepower and a 182 mph top speed. rmrproducts.com.
