Over the past few years, there have been very few tuner show cars that have garnered the kind of attention and accolades that the Tjin Edition Nissan Skyline R34 sedan has. The one-off creation has been featured on more than a dozen magazine covers worldwide and showcased in the pages of more than two dozen automotive publications.

When Neil Tjin from Tjin Edition first saw the four-door grocery-getter about five years ago, he instantly fell in love with the Skyline R34 sedan's bodylines and quickly saw the potential of this piece of machinery.

It was late in 2005 and Neil was wrapping up the Turtle Wax Get Waxed Tour with the Nissan 240SX that he had designed and built for Turtle Wax. With that tour and project coming to an end, Neil knew that he had to step up to the plate and come out with a project car that would blow the doors off the 240SX.

What Neil and his sponsors didn't expect was the insane amount of exposure that his one-of-a-kind Skyline R34 sedan has received since it debuted at the 2006 SEMA show. The ICE/Tjin Edition Nissan Skyline R34 sedan has been to major shows all across the country, and no matter what type of event it visits, the Skyline R34 sedan has been a standout hit with the spectators and car designers/builders.

The version pictured is what Neil likes to call Version 3.0 of his Skyline. When Version 1.0 of Neil's Skyline R34 sedan first debuted, it was branded under the Turtle Wax stable and was outfitted in their signature green paint scheme. In 2007, the Turtle Wax campaign continued but the car was repainted in a custom two-tone burgundy and gunmetal scheme.

Going into 2008, Neil got together with the fine folks at Turtle Wax and for the final go around they decided to brand the Skyline R34 sedan as an ICE vehicle. ICE cleaning products is a sister company of Turtle Wax, and thanks to Neil, his Tjin Edition Tour, and the success of the Skyline, the ICE line-up of products has quickly become a crowd favorite.

For the final version of the ICE/Tjin Edition Nissan Skyline R34 sedan, Neil and his team at Unique Fabrication tore the whole car apart for the final time. As you can see, these guys don't mess around, as Version 3.0 of the ICE Skyline R34 sedan surpasses Versions 1 and 2.

The most obvious changes and upgrades to the ICE/Tjin Edition Skyline R34 sedan can be found in the exterior. The two-tone burgundy and gray paint was sandblasted off before the new custom gray color was applied over the entire body and interior of the Skyline R34 sedan. The 12-piece URAS wide-body kit was customized for the car to give it a more aggressive look and to accent the new 20-inch One Lug Wheels.

The ICE/Tjin Edition Skyline R34 sedan is rolling around on a custom built set of 20x10-inch, 12-spoke One Lug Wheels up front and 20x11-inch wheels in the rear. These massively wide wheels are matched up to super sticky Falken tires. The centers of the One Lug Wheels are color-matched gray to the body of the car, while the inner and outer barrels have been sprayed in a gloss black finish. All the hardware, including the three-piece bolts, was done in a black zinc to flow with the theme of the car.

Located behind the 12-spoke One Lug Wheels are massive StopTech six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers and cross-drilled rotors. The ICE/Tjin Edition Skyline R34 sedan's center of gravity is brought down via a set of Function and Form Type II fully adjustable coilovers.

To keep with the race theme and heritage of the Skyline, Neil and the guys form Unique decided to completely gut the interior of the ICE/Tjin Edition Skyline R34 sedan and outfit it with one of the wildest roll cages and air jack systems we have ever seen in a car of this caliber. Unique was responsible for the insane 12-point chromoly roll cage, the air jack system, installing the race pedals, and building the custom all-metal center console, door panels, and rear deck lid.

Finishing off the race-inspired interior of the ICE/Tjin Edition Nissan Skyline R34 sedan are a GlowShift seven-color gray gauges boost, water temp, and oil pressure gauge, a set of Status Racing/Tjin Edition carbon-fiber racing seats, Team Tech four-point harnesses, an Advan steering wheel, Ignited Performance toggle switches, and a NISMO gauge cluster.

No Skyline would be legit without a powerful RB26DET motor, and Neil and his team knew that from the start. Adam Carpenter from Unique removed the stock RB motor and replaced with a fully built RB26DET motor. Besides the motor swap, Neil also had Adam bolt on the GT42R turbo, Unique Fabrication intake and turbo manifold, BIC front-mount intercooler, Vibrant four-inch intercooler piping, PWR radiator, Tial wastegate and blow-off valve, ID-Tuning four-inch downpipe, custom Magnaflow four-inch full cat-back exhaust, and one-off FAST engine management standalone system. Located in the gutted trunk section is a custom fuel-setup featuring a 20-gallon fuel cell, Barry Grant sumo pump, and pressure regulator.

With more than two dozen publications showcasing this one-of-a-kind Skyline R34 sedan, and well over 50 shows under its belt, the ICE/Tjin Edition Nissan Skyline R34 sedan has definitely surpassed all expectations. We can't wait to see what Neil and Tjin Edition pull out of their trailer next year.
